This “Vine Cobalt” cup and saucer was made in 1971 by the renowned British pottery Royal Crown Derby.
Set against the deep cobalt-blue glaze is a relief-molded grapevine, a symbol of prosperity. Delicate gold-painted veins adorn the fresh white porcelain leaves, while abundant fruit and vines are rendered in dimensional raised gold, applied by hand by skilled artisans. Its harmonious combination of a classic scalloped rim and gracefully curved handle is the epitome of traditional British ceramics.
Bring depth and beauty, and a truly satisfying sense of abundance, to your afternoon tea.
